Long Hot day at Holt Fleet

As we had enjoyed our previous session at Holt Fleet so much we decided to leave a bit earlier this week. We left at half 7 full of anticipation of a cracking days sport. The weather forecast had changed overnight from overcast with sunnt spells to sunny. We baited up and chatted for half an hour enjoying a custard tart and coffee for breakfast before getting stuck in to the task in hand!

Holt Fleet after the Big Boys!!

I must first apologise for not posting in my Angling Diary. I have just moved house and have had no net access! I have fished once with Karlos at Eardington Brook and caught 2 fish in the 3-5lb bracket and Karl caught 1 barb himself.



Not a very eventful trip, but pleasant on a warm end of summer evening and with a strange light hovering with red lights rotating fast around it. WEIRD!

Anyway, we decided last week to go to a 'prestige venue', Holt Fleet after hearing the report of a 16lb plus cap...
